10 songs for Charity

“10 songs for Charity”, by Director Karin Junger, is a moving film that follows the trials and tribulations of Charity, a young Nigerian girl, who leaves her country to work in prostitution in Europe. By depicting the harassment, humiliation and violence suffered by Charity and her sister, the film shows us the reality of sexual exploitation in Belgium.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with the Director and field experts on the subject, and by a reception to launch the Human trafficking awareness week.

NB: the film is in English, with Dutch sub-titles and the Q&A will be bi-lingual NL-FR.

Shadows

Shadows

On 18 October, the EU Anti-Trafficking Day, PAG-ASA will be at Brussels-North train station to raise awareness amongst passersby and to answer questions about trafficking in human beings.

The shadows on the floor will reveal the presence of the victims, who are almost out of sight/ invisible to us. The QR codes next to them will allow you to watch on your smartphone the testimony of three victims who have been exploited here in Belgium.

Want to come and have a chat with us?

We will be at Brussels-North station from 10:00 to 18:00.
